[rbldnsd] newbie help

another newbie bites the dust...

what I have:

RH 9
Spfilter
rbldnsd 0.98

what I need:

help getting this stuff to work.

in /etc/sysconfig/ there is a nice rbldnsd file with quite a lot of sample material which isn't getting me further.

Google hasn't been of much help either.

Would someone lend a hand and sort of walk me thru to a basic working rbldnds server?

the "winner" is to expect a pound of swiss chocolate in his mailbox (bribes?  nooooooooo)
(I do keep this promise - can provide references :)
