rbldnsd-0.996, which is the first version supporting gzip-compressed
data, is in -testing.  There's nothing to configure "by default",
because no one knows which zones YOU will be using, and the only
configuration for rbldnsd is to specify the zones.  You just drop
..gz zones and rbldnsd handles them automatically, there's nothing
to say to it (no option to specify etc) to turn on decompressor.
