Thanks, that worked well enough. i ought to have realized that when i 
saw no configure.lib in the 0.995 source.

I already have and use gcc on most of my solaris servers and will wait 
for the next version..

Umm i never doubted rbldnsd :-) and have been using it for some years 
now. BTW i owe you a few beers for your effort, if you ever happen to be 
in Bombay (India).
