[rbldnsd] Gentoo?

Wow, it appears to be significantly different from the others I've seen, so
the tells I was expecting are missing.
But there is enough to do some magic maybe.

Thank you,
AYJ

Init
bambi home # cat /etc/init.d/rbldnsd
#!/sbin/runscript
# Copyright 1999-2002 Gentoo Technologies, Inc.
# Distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License, v2 or
later

depend() {
        need net
}

start() {
        ebegin "Starting rbldnsd-server"
        start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --pidfile /var/run/rbldnsd.pid
--exec /usr/sbin/rbldnsd -- ${OPTIONS}
        eend $?
}

stop() {
        ebegin "Stopping rbldnsd-server"
        start-stop-daemon --stop --quiet --pidfile /var/run/rbldnsd.pid
--exec /usr/sbin/rbldnsd
        eend $?
}

I'm more than happy to test anything thrown my way.

Thanks in advance
Steve Mosher

Oops, There was another typo there too that will come up when the first
gets
resolved.
I left off a  ; in the bind.zones file after the final }

I guess I'm still full of C-isms. Sigh.

Hmm, as an asside could you send me a copy of the Gentoo
/etc/init.d/rbldnsd
script?
I'm interested in why the first value in your OPTIONS= is -r and it
still
works. Also in if I can determine the OS locations from that script.

Michael:
    I am working on turning these settings into a configure script for
new
installs.
What do you think about including it with the rbldnsd package when its
ready
for public release?
