It should also be said that DNSBL operators generally do not like at all
users that reject mails based on old data, because this increases their
workload.
When an IP goes out of a BL, it is expected that all rejections will have
stopped after a time corresponding to the TTL has elapsed. This time is
usually measured in minutes. Blocking mail for a whole day after an IP
has been removed will often cause irate reactions from the blockee to
the DNSBL operator, even if the problem is caused by some user
operating his installation under criteria different from those defined
by the DNSBL operator.
