Hi,

I'm trying to load a very large zone into rbldnsd.

It's a dnset comprised of 8 files, ranging in size from a few MB to almost
2GB. Total size of files for this dnset is about 2.5GB.

The error message I'm seeing is:

Oct 12 10:23:38 server rbldnsd[821]: out of memory

I've tried clearing cache memory, no improvement. The server has 32GB of
ram, it's not like it's actaully short of memory, post-cache-clearing:

[root at server]# free -g
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 31 6 25 0 0 3
-/+ buffers/cache: 2 28
Swap: 15 0 15
[root at server]#

The daemon already serves a few other zones, totaling about 100MB in size.

Suggestions on how to get this big*ss zone to load? :)

Thanks,

Dave
