chroot/usr/lib configuration is similar to the old
  anonymous FTP setup

Yes - I forgot that - the SENDMAIL is in /usr/lib, but
I do not know the reasons for not copying the sendmail
to /usr/sbin on Solaris - but that is true - sendmail
is only in /usr/lib on my system.

They said it runs slower than on the i386 platform (I think they
swapped the bits all the time), but they are aware of
the big-endianned of Sparc - it works. The system says:

Aug 20 16:15:14 flis genunix: [ID 540533 kern.notice] SunOS Release 5.8 Version Generic_108528-08 64-bit

then it is running in 64-bit mode propably.

I did not run AvpUpdate before (I used my own scripts - the combination
of fmirror and perl script), I have found it on the net with
the author of Serg Oskin <oskin@macomnet.ru> - I send him
the changes. I did not find there a word that this for is
the property of Kaspersky.
