Referring to your previous message, you have:

AvpUnix.ini:

With the above settings, kavdaemon does NOT work.

Please copy your defUnix.prf file as comes from the
kav distro and *modify* it according to avcheck's
README.AVP.  The README.AVP file says about MODIFICATIONS
for defUnix.prf, settings given in README aren't
complete .prf file.  And I'm too lazy to determine
which missing setting(s) is required for it to work.
If you want to you may experiment, adding every
setting from real defUnix.prf and checking if kavdaemon
will work.
