[rbldnsd] New to rbldnsd

I am new to rbldnsd and I have missed a step which I hope someone can
fill in this blank.

I have downloaded and installed rbldnsd on OpenSuse 10.3 and have it
running. I have also configured bind to listen for dnsbl.niesc.k12.in.us
on port 53 and forwards to port 530. On another OpenSuse server I can
perform the following command and I get 127.0.0.2 back.

nslookup 89.95.88.70.dnsbl.niesc.k12.in.us 165.138.207.251

~From this point I presume that my rbldnsd server is up and running. Now
what I am missing is that within sendmail I have added
dnsbl.niesc.k12.in.us to the DNSRBL. I have restarted sendmail with the
new settings. All mail filters at my office are setup the same with this
entry within the DNSRBL and I have restarted each one.

Now for a test, my home mail server has the IP Address of 70.88.95.89
and upon sending email to my work mail server on the 165.138.207.0/24
the message is allow to go through. Within my own rbldnsd I have also
added a listing of IP's from dsbl.org and can run nslookup on one of
those IPs to get the correct response.

Can anyone give me pointers on what step I am missing for sendmail to
query the rbldnsd server to block incoming mail. I am searching the
archives of the list but have not been able to find a solution.
